Glowing Embers is everything an RV Park and Storage facility should be, and more! When we bought our first RV this Spring, we were looking for a place to keep it and to have our first trial camping experience. We were glad that Glowing Embers was recommended to us, so | called and spoke to one of the owners, Michelle. As new Rvers, we were anxious and overwhelmed. The RV manuals were confusing and incomplete, and we had no experience maneuvering and backing up a large trailer. Michelle reassured us that they would be glad to help us and teach us. And they sure did! The first time we brought our trailer there, owner Robin expertly backed it into our storage spot, making sure we understood the process. When we arrived for our trial experience, employee and park resident Trevor helped us back our rig making sure we understood the process. When we arrived for our trial experience, employee and park resident Trevor helped us back our rig into the campsite, level and unhitch, connect and set up all the cords and hoses and turn on the equipment and appliances. When our trial weekend was over, Trevor came back and showed us how to break camp, dump the tanks and disconnect and stow everything. When he saw us trying on our own to return the trailer to the storage spot, park neighbour Roger jumped in and helped direct us. Everyone at Glowing Embers, the owners, and their family who man the office and store, the staff and even other clients and residents, are friendly and very helpful. No one made us new Rvers feel stupid or incompetent. Thanks to the people at Glowing Embers, we now feel much less anxious and overwhelmed, and are starting to enjoy our RV. We give Glowing Embers a glowing recommendation!
Nice location, quiet, peaceful
“Really enjoyed our stay here. We even stayed a few extra days. Nice large sites, and the staff is very accommodating. Nice laundry facilities, and showers. They don't try to gouge you for every nickel!”
Well sheltered, close to city, awesome staff.
“Couldn’t ask for a better setup, but recent roadway changes do make it a challenge to find! None the less, the the spaces were clean and hospitable, the bathrooms and showers are good. Cheap to shower, great laundry, good store , nice games room, service shop on campus with parts???!!l Holy Crap!!! These guys are on our list forever more. Only wish they had more pull through sites, but a tree in every spot is a good trade off. ”
nice clean park
“really nice clean quiet park, biggest store at an RV. park I've ever seen and largest laundry too. Close to Edmonton and the famous Edmonton Mall, you have to see it to believe it and all the sites historic and otherwise to visit. they give you a "newspaper" when you arrived with all the places of interest to visit and information about Edmond, it also has game in it like word search and crossword puzzles LOL. a large list of area Events for the year, a colouring contest page for the kids, which is really nice, a list of parts and Hospitals and even a Recipe Corner page WiFi with password free. stayed a couple of days to visit nearby family...Nice park..”
On the Road to Alaska
“Real nice place. Quiet. Dogs allowed. Close to 16. Don’t know what we call it, Highway, interstate but it’s right next to it. Easy to find. All size vehicles are here. Pull through sites as well as tiny pop up. If internet is important you are not going to be happy. But there are a lot of public Wi-Fi spots nearby if you hop in your vehicle. | needed to work on this adventure so it’s a bit inconvenient. I'm not sure if it is a 3.5 or 4 but rounded up. It was easy to book on the road and we did so on the day we arrived. Pet friendly. People call seem nice.”
